About
I am a Senior Research Fellow at the 5G/6G Innovation Centre (5GIC/6GIC), University of Surrey, where I also received my Ph.D. in Information and Wireless Communication Systems. My research builds AI-native radio access networks: agentic, intent-driven intelligence for the O-RAN RIC, digital twins for safe training of xApp controllers, and reinforcement-learning and generative methods for radio-resource management.
I lead the technical work on projects under the EPSRC CHEDDAR 6G Hub (ORAN-TWIN, ORAN-TWIN-X and Assurance O-RAN) and on industry-funded work on LLM pipelines, and I work closely with partners including Keysight, Samsung and Huawei. I also mentor Ph.D. students in our group.

EPSRC CHEDDAR 3.5 & 4.0 6G Hub (ORAN-TWIN, ORAN-TWIN-X & Assurance O-RAN)
2024 – present
Lead researcher and principal proposal author. Multi-agent RL for radio-resource allocation in O-RAN, trained safely and at scale in a digital twin; continual, rule-based surrogates that make the learned policies explainable and connect them to LLM reasoning at the Non-RT RIC. Technical coordinator of a consortium of Surrey, York, Leeds and BCU with industry partners.
LLM Engineering-Project-Delivery (EPD) pipeline — Huawei / Datacom Industry Association
Industry-funded
Drafted the bid and led technical scoping for an industrial LLM pipeline, owning deliverables and partner reporting.
ORCA — Safety-by-Design Autonomy: Conflict Arbitration for Multi-Vendor Open RAN
EPSRC
Co-authored the proposal; research on safe arbitration between conflicting xApps from multiple vendors.
